Vaccinations for babies

We will give your baby the vaccinations required by the Finnish national vaccination programme at the age-specific check-ups.

We will give your baby the vaccinations required by the Finnish national vaccination programme as part of some of your baby's check-ups at the child health clinic. The vaccines protect against a wide range of diseases and their possible complications. The vaccinations provided by the child health clinic are free of charge.

You can book appointments for age-specific check-ups in Maisa.

The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) website provides more information about vaccines and the diseases they protect against. More information is also available at your maternity and child health clinic.

Vaccinations for travelling abroad

Jos matkustat vauvan kanssa ulkomaille, selvitä ennakkoon, tarvitsetteko ylimääräisiä tai aikaistettuja rokotuksia perhettä varten. Voit kysyä neuvoa matkailijan rokotuksista omalta terveysasemaltasi.

If you are travelling abroad with your baby, find out in advance if you need extra or early vaccinations for your family. You can get advice on vaccinations for travellers at your local health station.
