Rehabilitation and therapies
In rehabilitation, we assist in maintaining and improving the patient's functional capacity.
Distribution of self-care supplies
Helsinki residents can receive supplies for self-care from self-care distribution points free of charge.
Diabetes centre
Diabetes monitoring for patients with type 1 diabetes takes place at our diabetes centre. At the diabetes centre we also treat patients with type 2 diabetes who need specialised health care.
Epidemiological operations
We manage epidemics of infectious diseases within the city of Helsinki and offer expert guidance and advice regarding infectious diseases.

Cancer screenings

Breast cancer screening
We invite all women between the ages of 50 and 69 for free breast cancer screening every two years.
Screening for cervical cancer
Every five years, we invite all women aged 25-65 living in Helsinki to cervical cancer screenings.
Colorectal cancer screening
The HUS Diagnostic Centre sends personal invitations to colorectal cancer screening to Helsinki residents aged 60, 62, 64, 66, 68 and 70.
