Social assistance consists of three components, with basic social assistance being provided by Kela. If you require supplementary or preventive social assistance, you can apply directly through us.
If an estate is without funds, you have the option to apply for a funeral grant to assist with the funeral expenses. We can provide the funeral grant to cover essential funeral costs, either partially or in full.

Social lending is intended for creditworthy Helsinki residents with low income who do not have access to other forms of loan on reasonable terms.
In the work ability assessment, we will examine and assess your work and functional ability and your eligibility to receive, for example, rehabilitation or pension.
We support your well-being, daily life and functional capacity. We arrange rehabilitative work activities and non-institutional work activities for unemployed Helsinki residents.
