Helsinki-based parents who have separated, are considering a separation or are going through a separation process may receive short-term and unbiased professional discussion support from our social instructors.
In the one to three meetings with the workers, you can talk in confidence about themes important to you, including those you do not wish to discuss with the other parent. We will review your situation together and consider how you could process your separation experience and reinforce your own capabilities for building a good co-parenting relationship. In our discussions, we will also always consider the children's position during these changes in the family.
The service is free, voluntary and confidential. We can meet face-to-face, on the phone or via a video connection - your situation and your wishes will determine how the service is implemented.
You do not need to have other client relationships to have access to this form of support. However, the discussion support can also supplement other services you receive.
