For those under 65, appointment booking opens on 8 October in both Maisa and by phone.

ITE self-treatment stations at health stations

Self-care services at health stations, provided at self-care points (Ite points), support independent health care by residents and promote wellbeing.

You can use an ITE self-treatment station for procedures such as measuring your blood pressure. At Vuosaari and Kalasatama Health and Wellbeing Centres, you can use a MedicubeX autonomous self-check station for more extensive examinations.

MedicubeX autonomous self-check stations

Vuosaari and Kalasatama Health and Wellbeing Centres feature the most versatile self-measurement stations that you can use to

measure your blood pressure
measure your heart rate
measure your oxygen saturation and respiratory rate
measure your temperature
measure your weight and analyse your body composition
produce an electrocardiogram (ECG), which provides information about the functioning of your heart.

The measurement takes about five minutes, and you will receive a printout of the results. An introduction video of the device is available on YouTube (link opens in an external service)(Link leads to external service) .

If you want to, you can carry out the Omaolo Health Check after the measurements to get a comprehensive picture of your lifestyle and mental wellbeing.

How to proceed:

You can complete the Omaolo health check directly on the self-measurement station’s screen after authentication.
If the health check indicates any health risks, you can send it from Omaolo directly to your health station.
Your measurement results will automatically be attached to the health check.
