Diabetes Centre operations will be centralised to the Herttoniemi location 22 June – 2 August. Starting from 3 August, the service will be available at the Western unit (Paciuksenkatu 21) and the Eastern unit (Siilikuja 3 D, current Herttoniemi location). The service ends at Kalasatama service point on 15 June and at the Vuosaari service point on 22 June.

Diabetes centre

Diabetes monitoring for patients with type 1 diabetes takes place at our diabetes centre. At the diabetes centre we also treat patients with type 2 diabetes who need specialised health care.

You become a customer of the diabetes centre with a referral. If you are being monitored at a health station for type 1 diabetes, contact the health station when the next monitoring visit is due. A doctor or nurse will make a referral to the diabetes centre.
