Health stations’ influenza and COVID-19 vaccination weeks and the telephone service for booking vaccination appointments ended on 14 November 2025. If you did not get vaccinated at a health station during the vaccination weeks and you are in a target group for influenza or COVID-19 vaccinations, you can book an appointment to get vaccinated. All available vaccination time slots can be found in the Maisa service ( www.maisa.fi(Link leads to external service) ). If you are unable to use Maisa, you can ask about available time slots by calling the telephone number of your health station.
Maternity and child health clinics will continue to vaccinate their clients until the end of January 2026.
School and student health care services continue to administer influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations. For more information, you can contact the nurse of your school or educational institution.
Before booking an appointment, please check whether you are in a target group for the vaccinations. You can read about the target groups for the vaccinations on our websites hel.fi/influenzavaccinations and hel.fi/covid-19-vaccinations.
Please note that the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) has changed its recommendations on the target groups for COVID-19 vaccinations since last year. This year, only those aged 75 and over will receive a COVID-19 vaccination on the basis of age alone. People under 75 must have at least two conditions that increase the risk of a serious COVID-19 infection in order to be eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine. People of all ages who are severely immunocompromised are entitled to a free-of-charge vaccination. .
