As of 14 April 2026, you will receive messages and letters from the City of Helsinki’s health and social services digitally not only in Maisa, but also in Suomi.fi Messages. Paper mail from authorities will remain an option for everyone.

Student health care

As an upper secondary student, you have access to student welfare services at your school provided by your school's welfare team. This multidisciplinary team includes professionals such as special education teachers, psychologists, school social workers, nurses, and doctors.

During school holidays, we offer specialised support in mental health and sexual health matters. Additionally, we conduct conscription health examinations at our Centralised Unit of Student Health Care.

Centralised Unit of Student Health Care
At the Centralised Unit, we offer services addressing sexual and mental health issues during school holidays. We also support students from private institutions that lack their own student health services on-site.
