Psychiatric round-the-clock hospital care

The round-the-clock hospital care period is intended for persons who need intensive psychiatric evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation.

We offer psychiatric hospital care when other forms of psychiatric care are not sufficient. Hospitalisation is usually needed, for example, in the examination and treatment of severe depression, psychosis, a bipolar disorder and suicidal thoughts.

We provide round-the-clock psychiatric care at Aurora Hospital. Our services require a doctor's referral.

The psychiatric hospital includes a psychiatric first aid ward, a geriatric psychiatric ward, a special care ward, mental disorder wards, general psychiatric wards and acute and rehabilitation wards for the treatment of psychotic disorders.
