You can manage the affairs of your underage child or an adult relative at dental care through different channels, such as by phone and in Maisa.

Learn how and in which contact channels of dental care you can act on behalf of your child or adult relative.

Acting on behalf of a child by phone or at a dental clinic

  • As a parent or guardian, you can usually act on behalf of your minor child by phone without separate authorisation, unless specific restrictions apply. A child over the age of 12 can choose to prevent their information from being shared with their parents or guardians if a healthcare professional determines that they have the capacity to make that decision.
  • In exceptional cases (for example, if there is a custody agreement), there may be restrictions.
