The Pukkila housing community is located in Pukinmäki, Helsinki. The community offers supported housing to 28 mental health rehabilitants in Helsinki. Most of the clients are referred to Pukkila from Aurora Hospital. The housing community is substance-free.
Pukkila is a home-like housing community that supports your rehabilitation and independent living, at your own pace and in accordance with your individual goals. A doctor and social counsellor regularly visit the community to support you in matters related to your treatment and rehabilitation.
The residents live under a rental agreement in apartments for four people, each with their own room and shared kitchen, living room, toilet and bathroom. The lease agreement has a one-month notice period. Housing allowance is available for the housing costs.
In the housing community, you will pay rent and, if necessary, a client fee, which is based on your service need. In addition, you will pay for your own food, medication, pill dispenser, hygiene supplies, duvet and pillow, bed linen and towels.
