Find out how and through which contact channels you can act on behalf of your underage child or adult relative when using health station services.
For a child:
- As a guardian, you can generally manage matters for your underage child by phone without needing separate authorisation.
- In exceptional cases (such as shared custody agreements), there may be restrictions on acting on the child’s behalf.
For an adult:
- Acting on behalf of an adult always requires written authorisation. Authorisation form (PDF)
- The person being represented must deliver the authorisation form to their own health station.

In Maisa, you can view health information and send messages to your health station. Go to Maisa(Link leads to external service)
For a child:
- As a guardian, you can automatically manage your underage children’s matters in Maisa.
- Children aged 10 and older can also use Maisa independently with strong authentication (e.g. online banking credentials).
For an adult:
- Your relative can grant you access rights in Maisa:
- Go to Menu > Manage proxy access > Grant proxy access
- Enter the person's details and send them an email invitation
- The authorised person accepts the invitation and provides the necessary information

For a child:
- As a guardian, you can usually manage matters for your child under 18 in MyKanta. However, a child aged 10 or older who is considered capable of decision making can choose to restrict access to their information.
- Children aged 10 and older can also use MyKanta independently with strong authentication (e.g. online banking credentials).
