Housing community Ilmatar is a housing unit for 67 clients, offering round-the-clock service housing and community housing for mental health rehabilitants in Helsinki.
The unit offers both intensive and functional rehabilitation, according to the individual needs of the resident. The majority of the residents have a psychotic condition.
We offer activities that maintain and promote functional capacity, as well as housing in a home-like and safe environment. All residents have their own room, including a small kitchen in communal housing. The unit offers meals and supervised medication. There are many different kinds of group activities in Ilmatar.
The clients are referred to the unit from the assessment and placement of mental health rehabilitants in housing support. You are welcome to visit the unit before moving.
