Group activities at health stations

We organise various groups focusing on health promotion, self-treatment of illnesses and lifestyle changes at health stations. Participation is free of charge. 

  • Themes: Mental wellbeing, sleep, nutrition, physical activity, the cycle of wellbeing and the direction of your everyday life.
  • Objective: Reflecting on your own change needs and steps towards a lifestyle change, taking into account your own resources.
  • Duration: The group meets regularly for three months.
  • Target group: Adults.

Themes: Primary information on type 2 diabetes, its treatment and prevention of associated diseases.

Objective: Providing information and support for a lifestyle change, strengthen self-care and facilitate peer support.

Duration: One 1.5-hour meeting.

Target group: People with type 2 diabetes.

Themes: Health benefits of reducing and quitting the use of nicotine products, personal wishes for change, ways to quit, everyday risk situations, and readiness and motivation for change.

Objective: Support for reducing or quitting the use of nicotine products.

Duration: Six meetings, lasting one hour each.

Target group: Users of tobacco and nicotine products.

Themes: Information about asthma, medical treatment, vaccinations and holistic lifestyle management.

Objective: Support for self-care, monitoring and motivation. Strengthening medical and non-medical treatments and understanding of the importance of lifestyles.

Duration: One one-hour meeting.

Digital coaching in Omaolo

Would you be interested in coaching to strengthen your sleep, interaction or happy life skills?

You can select a suitable digital coaching programme in the Omaolo service. In the coaching programme, you can set goals for yourself and monitor your progress.

The coaching programmes have been developed by Kustannus Oy Duodecim and are free of charge. 

The coaching programme will help you to manage your alcohol consumption. With the help of practical advice and exercises, you will learn to control your alcohol consumption so that it will not be harmful to your health.
