Our counselling and contraceptive services
We provide free contraception to everyone under the age of 25. Contraceptive counselling at health stations, in centralised contraceptive counselling services and in school and student healthcare is also free of charge.
Please contact your local health station if you want to start using birth control or have questions about contraception.
Advice on birth control is given at your local health station, in school and student healthcare and at maternity and child health clinics. You can turn to centralised contraceptive counselling in special situations. Read more about the service here.

Free contraception for young people
Contraception is free of charge for everyone under the age of 25. If you are under 17 years of age and are considering going on birth control, please contact the centralised contraceptive counselling service.
You can decide for yourself if you want to tell your parents about the visit. Our employees will not contact your parents.
Free condoms for the prevention of pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases are available from health stations, school nurses, student healthcare nurses, maternity and child health clinics and centralised contraceptive counselling units.
