We provide services to elderly people living at home with impaired memory or other challenges with their functional capacity in western Helsinki.
Day activities help you cope with everyday life at home, as well as maintains your functional capacity and your social relationships. The services also help relatives and informal caregivers to cope.

You can access our services via a service needs assessment. You can apply for day activities by contacting Senior Info. If you are already a client of home care or informal care and would like to take part in day activities, please contact your designated worker. Find out more about service needs assessments.
As a rule, you will take part in the activities once a week, either for a whole day or a half day. The activities are subject to a fee, and the fee includes meals. If necessary, we can arrange group transport to the day activities and back home. In this case, the client fee for the day activities will be higher. Read more about fees.
Sinilintu provides elderly people with a warm place to meet others and spend a pleasant day. You will get companionship, refreshment and activity which can help you cope better at home and brings a good feeling to your everyday life.
At Sinilintu, we plan our monthly programme together with you and our other clients. You can participate in the crafts and discussion group, mental workout session, sing-along or exercise moments, spending time outdoors, or doing something else together which you have requested in the programme.
We also participate in the shared events at the Munkkiniemi Service Centre. We often go to the service centre’s restaurant for breakfast and lunch.
Our nursing and rehabilitation professionals are here to support you in your daily life.
