You can receive temporary home care if your ability to function becomes temporarily impaired.
You can be given temporary home care (short-term home care), for example, if you fall ill or are recovering from surgery, or when your functional ability becomes temporarily impaired for some other reason. Temporary home care can be provided for up to two months.
The service can include monitoring your condition, wound care and helping with meals and bathing.
The number of home visits varies depending on your situation. Temporary home care can be combined with support services, such as a meal service.
