We are conducting a survey on the experiences of violence in close relationships among Helsinki residents aged 18 and over. You can respond to the survey anonymously until 9 October 2026. Every response helps us develop services and strengthen support for all those affected by violence and their loved ones.

The city's service apartments and group homes are located in senior centres and service homes throughout Helsinki. If you have any questions, for example about visiting a relative, you can contact the carers in the units by phone.

Applying for 24-hour care
If your health and functional capacity declines to the point that you can no longer live at home with the support of home care or other services arranged at home, you can apply for a 24-hour place of care.
