We are located on the first floor of stairwell A of the Roihuvuori Senior Centre. We provide services for elderly people living in the eastern and south-eastern regions of Helsinki, in particular.
Day activities help you cope with everyday life at home, as well as maintains your functional capacity and your social relationships. Our services are aimed at Helsinki residents living at home who have challenges with their memory or functional capacity. The services also help relatives and informal caregivers to cope.

You can access our services via a service needs assessment. You can apply for day activities by contacting Senior Info. If you are already a client of home care or informal care and would like to take part in day activities, please contact your designated worker. Find out more about service needs assessments.
As a rule, you will take part in the activities once a week, either for a whole day or a half day. The activities are subject to a fee, and the fee includes meals. If necessary, we can arrange group transport to the day activities and back home. In this case, the client fee for the day activities will be higher. Read more about fees.
Day Activities Centre Liina offers you a warm place to meet others and enjoy a fulfilling daily life. We start the day with being together and light exercise, such as outdoor activities. The day includes chair exercises, gym exercises, discussions, singalongs, mental workout sessions and, most importantly, meals together in good company. We have breakfast, lunch and afternoon coffee together.
We do everyday things that bring us joy: we bake, do crafts, sing and play group games. We bring rhythm, variety and safe company to your days. Our instructors support you individually and encourage you to move and participate according to your abilities. You can also participate in the events organised by the senior centre.
Our multi-disciplinary team supports your everyday life. Our team consists of care workers, a physiotherapist, an occupational therapist, a social instructor and an instructor.
