Coaching courses for new informal caregivers

In the training course for new informal caregivers, you will learn the basics of working as a caregiver for an older adult and get to know people in the same life situation.

The training course aims to support you as an informal caregiver. You can participate in the course if you have signed an informal care agreement with the City of Helsinki. The course is particularly suitable for caregivers who have recently signed the agreement.

The coaching is a six-meeting course in which we have peer-to-peer discussions on issues related to caregiving. In this course, you will learn about different forms of support for informal caregivers and factors that affect your family's wellbeing. In addition, the course will introduce you to new people with whom you can exchange experiences and ideas.

The course will be held either remotely or on-site at locations in different areas. You will receive the material covered in the course to take home.

We provide the courses only in Finnish.
