Telephone service for counselling for the unhoused 09 310 22530 is open from June 1 to August 31, 2026 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 am to 11.30 am and from 12 pm to 3 pm.

Applying for temporary housing through the Hietaniemenkatu Service Centre

We provide assistance to unhoused individuals in Helsinki in finding temporary housing solutions.

Temporary housing is specifically intended for individuals with urgent, short-term housing needs, with the ultimate objective of securing a permanent housing arrangement.

If you are a client of the Hietaniemenkatu Service Centre, you can apply for temporary housing through our team of social instructors.

Temporary housing consists of individual rooms within a cellular unit. Please note that a daily fee for temporary housing is EUR 14.60.
