Rehabilitative exercise at service centres

Service centres have exercise groups led by physiotherapists to support your functional capacity.

On this page

Rehabilitative exercise at service centres is intended for those who require special support due to decreased functional capacity or are at risk of decreased functional capacity due to an injury, illness or old age.

Rehabilitative exercise groups are available at all the service centres. Please get in touch with your physiotherapist to register in a group.

Participation is free of charge. You need a service centre card to access the service. You can get a card free of charge from the service centres' information desk.

Do you already have a service centre card?

You can get a free service centre card from the service centres' information desk if you are retired or unemployed living in Helsinki.

When applying for the service centre card, you can prove your retirement with an earnings-related pension card or a pension or benefit decision. If you are currently not working and you are registered as an unemployed job seeker, you can apply for a service centre card on the basis of unemployment. You can print out a certificate of the validity of your job seeking from the TE Service’s E-services (webpage in Finnish)(Link leads to external service)
