Day activities Näpsäkkä

We serve older residents living at home in northern Helsinki, whose memory or functional capacity has decreased.

Our Näpsäkkä team includes practical nurses and a physiotherapist who assesses the functional capacity of new clients and prepares gym exercise cards for them.

During the day, we hold various sessions involving, for example, outdoor activities, manual skills, reminiscing and discussion, music and physical activities.

Older people living at home come to Näpsäkkä for rehabilitation and recreational purposes. We provide encouragement and instructions to our clients in order for them to better maintain their functional capacity and live at home.

Day activities Näpsäkkä operates at the Madetoja Service Home in Pukinmäki. The Madetoja Service Home and Näpsäkkä are part of the Syystie Senior Centre.
