You can contact social assistance guidance for questions about applying for and receiving supplementary and preventive social assistance, as well as for information on funeral assistance.

We are here to assist you with inquiries about applying for income support provided by the city and its associated payments.

Our services are available over the phone in both Finnish and Swedish.

Supplementary or preventive social assistance
You can receive supplementary or preventive social assistance from the city if it is determined that it will prevent financial distress or if you have specific needs requiring support.
