Life after informal care -coaching

You can receive support from the Life after informal care (Omaishoitajasta omaiseksi) -coaching when your loved one is about to move or has already moved into a care home.

The purpose of the coaching is to support the caregiver in the new life situation. The coaching is intended for informal caregivers whose loved one is about to move or has moved into a long-term care facility outside their home.

In the coaching, we will discuss matters important to the participants, such as feelings, well-being, coping and letting go of the care responsibility.

The coaching is a set of five meetings. You can register for the coaching by contacting an activity centre for informal care.

The coaching is organised by the City of Helsinki in collaboration with the association Omaisena edelleen ry.

We organise the coachings in Finnish only.
