Uunisaari Beach is located on the island of Uunisaari by Kaivopuisto park. Uunisaari is accessible by water bus from Meripuisto.
Located on Uunisaari island is the sandy-bottomed Uunisaari Beach that is also accessible by ferry from Meripuisto.
You can check the water quality, temperature and blue-green algae situation of the beach via the ulkoliikunta.fi map service during the summer season. Lifeguards do not supervise the beach during the beach season.
The beach has a dressing room, toilet facilities and shower, but also a restaurant for private events. Uunisaari has 22 beach shelters available for renting. All shelters have been rented with contracts valid until further notice, and new customers are not currently accepted in the queue.

The route to the outdoor sports area
- There are no accessible parking spaces near the beach. The nearest parking area is located over 50 m from the place.
- The pick-up and drop-off area is located over 50 m from the beach.
- The beach is located on an island with only boat or ferry access.
- A smooth and sufficiently wide fine crushed rock or sand route leads to the beach. The route is illuminated.
- The passage has 3 consecutive steps.
Outdoor sports area

The requirements for accessibility are not met, as there is little room in front of the toilet for a wheelchair, the door is heavy, the door cannot be easily opened and closed and the door has thresholds over 2 cm high.
