Come to Yrjönkatu Swimming Hall to enjoy a unique spa atmosphere in the heart of Helsinki. You can wear a swimsuit or swim naked in the swimming hall. Women and men have different swimming days.

You can buy an advance ticket for access to the second floor online. The service will be available by the end of February.

Rent a sauna or meeting room 

Yrjönkatu Swimming Hall has two reservable private saunas and a meeting room for rent. The facilities are reserved and paid for via the Varaamo online reservation service. You can find the facilities in Varaamo from 26 January 2026 onwards.

Public swimming halls in Helsinki

Yrjönkatu Swimming Hall is one of the City of Helsinki’s four public swimming halls. In addition to the four, Helsinki also features seven public swimming halls run by Urheiluhallit Oy. The City of Helsinki’s sports products only give access to the City’s four swimming halls.
