The citynature.eu website offers tips for exploring urban nature in Helsinki. Destinations include the islands and districts of the city known as Harakka, Keskuspuisto, Kallahdenniemi, Lauttasaari, Mustavuori, Pajamäki-Tali, Pihlajasaari, Seurasaari, Uutela, Vallisaari, Vanhankaupunginlahti and Vasikkasaari.

Maps for summer and winter activities

In winter, the Helsinki Map Service is updated to include the city’s ski tracks and skating rinks and information about their condition. In summer, it shows the locations of beaches with a lifeguard on duty. It also contains information about daily algae status, water temperature and lifeguard schedules.
