AI4Citizens
Helsinki is taking part in the AI4Citizens project, which addresses opportunities and challenges of adoption of AI in the public sector, particularly in local and regional governments. The project is funded by the European Union’s Interreg Europe programme. AI4Citizens runs from 2024 to 2028.
The purpose of the project is to deepen understanding of the opportunities, risks and challenges posed by AI in the development of cities and regions. By identifying good practices and novel solutions through interregional exchange and co-creation, the project aims to facilitate safe and ethical adoption of AI in the public sector.
