If the location of the boundaries of your real estate is unclear, e.g. when a fence needs to be built, you can apply for a boundary demonstration, which is an unofficial boundary demarcation procedure. A boundary demonstration involves carrying out a measurement to show the location of a boundary marker in the terrain in accordance with the real estate register in the detailed plan area and marking it temporarily.
A height demonstration is a measurement procedure used to determine the altitude of a building, structure or yard from a location designated by the orderer. If necessary, a statement will be provided regarding the altitude.
A boundary or height demonstration can be applied for by the owner or part-owner of the real estate, a leaseholder, the municipality, or a person whose rights are directly affected by the boundary demarcation, e.g., a joint owner of a shared area. The demonstration can be ordered at any time.
