Changes to client fees from the beginning of 2026: income limits, disposable funds and payment caps to be raised
Income-based client fees will change from 1 January 2026 onwards, when the associated minimum amount of disposable funds and income limits will be increased. In addition to this, the payment cap (also known as maximum payment limit) will be raised.

For a missed or appointments cancelled at short notice, we charge a fee of EUR 56.70 from clients over 18 years of age if there is no acceptable reason for the cancellation. The fee is also charged for remote appointments.

If you do not attend your booked appointment, you will receive an invoice for the unused appointment time.

Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled time for the health care services listed below. For a missed or appointments cancelled at short notice, we charge a penalty fee of EUR 56.70 if there is no acceptable reason for the cancellation. An acceptable reason includes, for example, sudden illness. The penalty fee is charged only from clients aged 18 and over.

The penalty fee is charged for the following health care services and their remote appointments:

  • doctor’s and nurse’s appointments
  • appointments with a physiotherapist, occupational therapist or other health care professional
  • appointments with a dentist, dental hygienist or dental assistant
  • outpatient visit in specialised health care
  • school and student health care appointment
  • an appointment reserved by the city for agreed follow-up care or examination

Request a correction for a fee charged for a missed appointment

You will not be charged for a missed appointment if charging the fee would be unreasonable or if there is an acceptable reason for the missed appointment.

No fee is charged either if we have not informed you about the fee for the missed appointment and have not provided instructions for cancelling the time or location.
