We are located in the bright and renovated facilities of the third floor of the Myllypuro Senior Centre. We offer assisted living for those of you who need 24-hour care and support in your daily lives. It is important for us that you can live a safe and peaceful life of your own preferences, in accordance with your own wishes and ways.

How can you move in with us, and how much does it cost?
You can move in with us following an assessment of your service needs. Find out more about how to apply for housing services for the elderly.
24-hour service housing covers the care and treatment you need, activities that support your functional capacity, services related to meals, laundry and clothes care, washing and cleaning, as well as services that promote participation and social interaction.
You pay rent as well as a monthly fee based on your net income, to cover the services included in the 24-hour service housing.

What is it like to live at the Sonaatti Group Home?
At the Sonaatti Group Home, you can live a life of your own preferences. We respect your privacy and your right of self-determination. We listen to you and take your wishes and abilities into account, and plan your daily routines together so that they feel natural for you. You can participate in our joint activities whenever it suits you, or spend time by yourself.
Facilities and accessibility
The Sonaatti Group Home is located in accessible facilities on the third floor of the Myllypuro Senior Centre.

The facilities support a safe and smooth daily life.
Your room – your home
You will have your own room with a toilet, shower and shower chair. The room has a bed, a mattress and a bedside table. The room is your home, and you can decorate it with your own furniture and important belongings. This makes the environment feel familiar and safe. The nurse call system allows you to call for help if necessary, improving your safety.
Common areas
You can spend time with the other residents and your loved ones and participate in the joint activities in the shared lounges and dining areas. There is a shared dining area, living room, group space, living room with a fireplace, and a sauna on the floor. There are also two balconies, and the larger one is often used to enjoy the evening sun and, occasionally, pancake parties.
Meals
You will enjoy your meals in the common dining area with the others or in your own room. Mealtimes are peaceful and unhurried. Hot meals are prepared at the kitchen of the senior centre, taking any allergies you may have into account.
You can also go to the Amoroso Restaurant on the first floor of the senior centre for coffee or a meal with your loved ones. The restaurant is open

Garden and local environment
The Myllypuro Senior Centre is surrounded by pedestrian and cycling paths that run along the natural environment. Our back yard also offers great opportunities for outdoor activities, including a senior park and berry bushes. You can also tend to edible plants in our greenhouse.

What is everyday life like with us?
Your daily life is shaped according to your own daily routine. The day includes:
- basic care and support
- moments of rest and time to yourself
- opportunities to participate in joint activities
We organise many kinds of hobby activities and outdoor activities. You can decide for yourself which activities you’d like to participate in. A printed copy of the weekly programme is posted to the noticeboard of the group home.
Information for family members and loved ones
Your loved ones can visit you at their convenience. Pets are also welcome here. You can go for a walk with your loved ones. Please let the staff know, either in advance or when you leave.
We are well served by public transport. There are a limited number of parking spaces in our yard, and you must register your car for parking at the entrance lobby of the senior centre. The building managers can assist you when necessary.
