We are located on the sixth floor of the Myllypuro Senior Centre. We offer 24-hour service housing for those of you who need around-the-clock care and support in your daily lives. We are certified by the Finnish Kinaesthetics Association, and activities which support functional capacity are important to us.

How can you move in with us, and how much does it cost?
You can move in with us following an assessment of your service needs. Find out more about how to apply for housing services for the elderly.
24-hour service housing covers the care and treatment you need, activities that support your functional capacity, services related to meals, laundry and clothes care, washing and cleaning, as well as services that promote participation and social interaction.
You pay rent as well as a monthly fee based on your net income, to cover the services included in the 24-hour service housing.

What is it like to live at the Rytmi and Tempo Group Homes?
You can live a life of your own preferences, participating in the joint events when you wish. We organise shared celebrations according to the seasons, just like you would at home. You can participate in planning them by participating in the monthly community meetings.
Facilities and accessibility
The Rytmi and Tempo Group Homes are located in the renovated and accessible facilities of the sixth floor of the Myllypuro Senior Centre.

The facilities support a safe and smooth daily life.
Your room – your home
You will have your own room with your own bathroom. The room is equipped with a bed and a bedside table. You can furnish your room with your own furniture, textiles and important belongings so that you feel comfortable there. The nurse call system allows you to call for help if necessary, improving your safety.
Common areas
The floor has a sauna, a living room with a fireplace, and a particularly popular spacious balcony, which allows us to spend time outdoors throughout the year and enjoy the evening sun.
The common lounging room and dining areas allow you to spend time with the other residents or watch tv, participate in joint activities, or meet your loved ones.
Meals
You can enjoy your meals in the common dining area with the others or in your own room. All hot meals are prepared in the kitchen of the senior centre, and we take any allergies into account. We also organise themed group meals based on the wishes of our residents, and we sometimes bake together.
You can also go to the Amoroso Restaurant on the first floor of the senior centre for coffee or a meal with your loved ones. The restaurant is open

Garden and local environment
You can also spend time outdoors in the protected yard of the senior centre, or the nearby areas.

Being outdoors and the natural environment support your wellbeing and give meaning to your everyday life.
What is everyday life like with us?
Your daily life is shaped according to your own daily routine. The day includes:
- basic care and support
- moments of rest and time to yourself
- opportunities to participate in joint activities
We organise many kinds of hobby activities and outdoor activities. You can decide for yourself which activities you’d like to participate in. A printed copy of the weekly programme is posted to the noticeboard of the group home.
Information for family members and loved ones
Your loved ones can visit you at their convenience. Pets are welcome at the group home, and the staff often bring their own dogs along to visit. We are well served by public transport. The senior centre has its own parking area with a limited number of spaces. There is a registration point for your car in the entrance hall. The building managers can assist you when necessary.
Your loved ones can also take you out for a walk or to visit friends and family. Please remember to let the staff know, either in advance or when you leave.

Our multi-disciplinary team supports your everyday life.
- Your appointed nurse pair is there to support you and is responsible for planning the maintenance of your functional capacity.
- Practical nurses, nurses and care assistants ensure your day-to-day care and wellbeing.
- Your doctor is responsible for your medical care.
- A social instructor can help you with matters related to services and life circumstances.
- An occupational therapist visits every week to support the residents with leading a meaningful daily life.
- A physiotherapist supports the residents’ functional ability on weekdays.
- A culture instructor enables including art and culture as part of your everyday life.
