You are welcome to come to the Social Services, Health Care and Rescue Services Division for a brief professional visit to get to know our experts, operations and services.
Subjects of visits
Your visit may be related to the following services, for example:
- services for the elderly
- services for families with children
- services for persons with disabilities
- services for the unemployed
- health services.
We organize visits only for those interested in the City of Helsinki’s social and health services. If you are interested in national-level policies and operations, please contact the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) or the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health (MSAH).
Content of the visit
- max. 2 hours
- meeting with experts
- a tour of a service point, such as a service centre for seniors or a maternity and child health clinic.
Timing and language of the visit
We welcome visitors between September and November, as well as between February and May. We offer visits in English. You can bring an interpreter (at your own cost) if necessary.
