The Education Division’s advisory services can answer your questions about early childhood education and care, daycare centres, family daycare, playgrounds, comprehensive schools, general upper secondary schools and vocational education and training.
The telephone service is open Mon–Fri 10.00–12.00 and 13.00–15.00 on +358 9 310 44986 . You can also visit the Education Division offices in the Helsinki district of Vallila at the street address Töysänkatu 2 D in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you would like to visit the offices for personal advice on another weekday, please call the telephone service and make an appointment.

You can request to have an interpreter help you if you are not able to converse in Finnish or English. The Education Division can arrange for an interpreter for a phone consultation or a consultation in person. Interpretation services are available in many languages, such as Arabic, Chinese, Swahili, Thai and Russian.
You can leave traditional post in the letter box next to the front door at Töysänkatu 2 or give it to the lobby attendant.
