Helsinkians who are in line for the vaccine can get the first corona vaccine dose without appointment at the pop-up vaccination points.

The first coronavirus jab can be given without appointment also at Jätkäsaari, Malmi, Myllypuro and Messukeskus vaccination points on weekdays 10–15.15 and on Saturdays 11–16.15. You must still book an appointment for the booster jab.

Because of the challenging situation with the epidemic we encourage non-vaccinated people to get the first jab. Already the first jab protects most people from a severe form of the illness. We want to make it as easy as possible for Helsinkians to get the vaccine. This is why we are opening pop-up vaccination points in convenient locations for Helsinkians, says Timo Carpén, Medical Director.

The pop-up points are open 11–15. Updated information about the pop-up points you can find on Pop-up vaccination points -website.

You must have your ID or Kela card with you when you come to the vaccination point. Be prepared to stay for monitoring for at least 15 minutes after the vaccination.

When you get the first jab without appointment, we book you an appointment for the booster vaccine at the same time. The second jab is given 8–12 weeks after the first one.

At the moment you can only get the first jab without appointment at the pop-up point, but not the booster jab.
