Appointments for influenza vaccinations opened on Monday 25 October at 9 o'clock. There have been a lot of calls to the telephone booking service, which has led to congestion. If possible, we recommend booking your influenza vaccination appointment online at influenzavaccination.hel.fi(Link leads to external service).

“Helsinkians have been active in booking appointments for influenza vaccinations. We are talking about thousands of appointments that have been booked. There have been a lot of calls to the booking service so there is unfortunately a delay in call backs. However, everyone will be called back, so please only call once to make an appointment,” says Medical Director of Health Stations Timo Lukkarinen.

“Our current estimate is that the call back won't happen until the upcoming days or next week. However, there are enough vaccination appointments for everyone who are entitled to a free of charge influenza vaccine,” Lukkarinen continues.
