Vaccinations of residents of Helsinki belonging to at-risk groups and those close to them began on Monday 1 November. The appointment bookings opened on 25 October. Influenza vaccinations will be given Mon-Fri for a period of four weeks.
- Influenza vaccinations are well under way. About 55,000 appointments have been booked so far. Influenza vaccinations are available by appointment at COVID-19 vaccination points, which are in accessible locations, so people have found the points easily, says Medical Director of health stations Timo Lukkarinen.

- Sometimes there may be a queue at the vaccination points. We, therefore, urge everyone to arrive on time for their vaccination. Unfortunately, the vaccination points do not have separate waiting areas and queuing may take place outdoors. It is important to dress according to the weather in the autumn, Lukkarinen says.
If you wish, you can receive the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccination at the same time as the influenza vaccination if you are eligible to receive the third dose. In this case, there is no need to set aside a separate time for the COVID-19 vaccination. It is sufficient to only set aside time for the influenza vaccination.
Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations are available at the vaccination points Mon-Thu 8:15-18:00 and Fri 8:15-16:00.
