Grants for resident participation are granted for the maintenance of apartment buildings and the coordination of their operations, as well as for the development of structures and methods that improve resident participation.
The types of assistance for resident participation are the general assistance and operational assistance, which are applied for once a year, and the small assistance, which is applied for throughout the year. Granting of grants follows the grant criteria established by the city government.

The City of Helsinki's resident participation grants information event will be held in Teams on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The information event will introduce the city's resident participation aid types and criteria, as well as transactions in the electronic aid system.

The application period for resident participation general and operational grants for 2024 begins on April 1, 2023 and ends on May 2, 2023 at 4 p.m. The application period for small grants started in January and continues.
