Service Map brings Helsinki’s services to your fingertips

The Service Map is the residents’ own map that helps to ensure that services are always close by. The Service Map has also been redesigned to make it easier to use. It is available in Finnish, Swedish and English.

In addition to the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, the Service Map(Link leads to external service) includes locations and services of the Vantaa and Kerava Wellbeing Services County and the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County. The map also shows public transport stops and many services offered by private companies. You can search for schools, daycare centres, playgrounds, health stations, parking areas, recycling points, restaurants, second-hand shops and much more.

One special feature of the Service Map is accessibility information. The aim of the Service Map is to help all residents find up-to-date information on the services offered by the city and the accessibility of these services. The Service Map has been designed with an ‘accessibility first’ approach to make using it as easy as possible for different user groups.

The Service Map is also a great way to increase the visibility of your company. Private companies can provide information about their services for the Service Map using the City Platform notification form(Link leads to external service). You can also use the notification form to share a tip about a nice service and make it visible on the map.

Pro tip from the Service Map team: As the summer approaches, you could search the Service Map for playgrounds or rug washing sites closest to your home!
