The property consists of seven apartment buildings completed in 1979, featuring the clear and minimalist architecture typical of the era. The buildings have three to four floors. There are a total of 117 apartments, ranging from functional studios to more spacious three-room apartments, so there are options to suit a variety of living needs. Most of the apartments are two-room and three-room apartments.
The renovation of Saniaistie 3 will see the apartments refurbished to a new standard and the facades, courtyards, and communal areas renovated. The renovation will also improve the energy efficiency and accessibility of the buildings.
The apartments have vinyl plank flooring and ceramic tile bathrooms, which are practical and easy to maintain. The kitchens have plenty of storage space, a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, stove, and range hood, as well as space for a microwave. The two- and three-room apartments have their own balconies. The apartments also have a separate, heated storage room.
The buildings' shared facilities support the residents' active and varied everyday lives. The shared facilities include a club room for various resident events, saunas, a free laundry room with drying facilities, and two playgrounds in the courtyard.
Saniaistie 3 is located in the peaceful and pleasant Tapanila neighborhood in northeast Helsinki. The area has good services, from local shops to health services, as well as good transport connections throughout Helsinki.
