Oulunkylä Health Station has administered COVID-19 vaccines with potentially reduced effectiveness to a total of 60 clients between 2 December 2025 and 7 January 2026. Due to human error, the health station has administered some vaccines after their expiration date.
A vaccine with reduced effectiveness does not provide full vaccine protection, but it is not otherwise harmful or dangerous.
We will contact each client concerned personally. If you are one of the clients who has received a vaccine with reduced effectiveness, we will offer you a new dose of COVID-19 vaccine. We recommend that you receive the new dose no sooner than 28 days after the previous vaccination.
The total number of clients who have received the COVID-19 vaccine during the current vaccination period is more than 3,000 at Oulunkylä Health Station and more than 66,000 in Helsinki as a whole. The COVID-19 situation is currently calm.
