In connection with youth centres in different parts of the city, you will find many kinds of spaces that can be booked free of charge by youth groups, associations and others for youth activities lasting at least three months. Unregistered groups can also book spaces for organisational and civic activities. There are spaces for a variety of activities and hobby group gatherings, from gyms to band rehearsal spaces and from handicraft shops to theatre spaces.
The seasonal booking application period for the youth services facilities for the 2024–2025 season (12 August 2024 to 1 June 2025) starts on Thursday 4 April 2024 and ends on Tuesday 30 April 2024 at 16.00. Fill in the online application at the Varaamo service(Link leads to external service)

Varaamo
Varaamo is the digital booking service of the City of Helsinki, where residents and communities can book the city’s spaces and equipment for their own use. Go to Varaamo(Link leads to external service)
The renewed Varaamo service can for now be found at tilavaraus.hel.fi/en(Link leads to external service). The familiar address varaamo.hel.fi will be used once the transfer to the new booking system has been completed. In the new Varaamo, you will log in using strong identification, such as online banking credentials. When logging in, you will create a Helsinki profile if you do not have one already.
