The adult social work telephone service is open on weekdays at 8.15–16.00. Please primarily contact the services by telephone. Walk-in service for clients is available without an appointment at five locations on weekdays at 9.00–14.30. If the client already has a designated worker, the client will be contacted either through Maisa or during the worker’s telephone hours.
Social services counselling provides guidance and advice on social services by telephone on weekdays at 8.15–16.00.
“By standardising our practices, we want to strengthen the work of our designated workers and the support that our clients receive,” says Sari Karisto, Deputy Director of Youth Services and Adult Social Work.
You can contact adult and youth social work services when you face challenges in daily life and in various crisis situations. You can receive support, guidance and advice in personal discussions. The service is based on a service needs assessment and client plan prepared together. A designated worker will be appointed if necessary.
