The map includes symbols for indicating locations of e.g. museums, theatres, churches and beaches, which are mostly based on the Helsinki Metropolitan Area Service Map (Pääkaupunkiseudun Palvelukartta). The map enlargement of central Helsinki uses symbols that take up little space to make it easier to locate significant attractions and buildings. Overall, the aim of the content and visuals is clarity and consistency.
The scale of the guide map is 1:20,000. The map is sold as a folded map with a list of place names and as a set of guide map sheets with straight pages. The map and the index are bilingual with Finnish and Swedish. The previous edition dates back to 2022.
