In TUVA training you can:
- learn more about vocational and general upper secondary studies
- complete vocational and general upper secondary studies
- get study guidance for further education
- raise your comprehensive school grades
- develop your basic Finnish, digital or communication skills
- learn more about the working life and different professions
You can study up to 38 weeks, or one school year, in TUVA. After registration you will have a personal study plan based on your capabilities and goals.
Finnish-language TUVA training is provided by Stadin AO, The Helsinki Vocational College. The Swedish-language equivalent is called Hux-training, and it is provided by Prakticum.
How to apply to TUVA education
- If you are graduating or have graduated from comprehensive school and you do not have an upper secondary qualification or a university degree, apply to TUVA via Studyinfo(Link leads to external service) .
- Applicants who do not meet the criteria listed above can apply to TUVA via the rolling admissions by Stadin AO, Helsinki Vocational College(Link leads to external service) (in Finnish). Details for application periods will be announced during the spring.
