The replies are used to develop maintenance and as background information for steering the planning of parks and streets, for example.
The survey includes questions regarding the maintenance of footpaths, cycling lanes, driving lanes and parks. You can also give feedback on the care of plantings and grassy areas, waste bins, the ease of moving around, and roadwork sites, for example.
‘Residents have previously hoped for more meadows and flowers, for example, and these are requests we have been able to fulfill. We would also like to highlight the perspectives of children and young people better. You can fill in the survey together with your child or tell a young person you know about the survey,’ says Anna-Mari Tiitinen-Kairi, Green Space Maintenance Team Manager.
The City hopes for plenty of responses from different parts of the City, so that the results would represent all areas as well as possible.
The map-based survey will be open from 15 September to 4 October 2025. Responding will take approximately 5–10 minutes. The survey is available in Finnish, Swedish, and English.
