If you are unable to attend your social and health care services appointment, please cancel or reschedule your appointment no later than 24 hours before the scheduled time. When you cancel or reschedule your appointment early enough, we can offer the appointment to someone else and help the service run more smoothly.

If you do not cancel your appointment or cancel it too late without an acceptable reason, you may have to pay a so-called penalty fee for the unused service. The fee is charged to clients aged 18 and over, and it also applies to remote appointments that have not been cancelled. An acceptable reason for not cancelling is, for example, a sudden illness.

Instructions for cancelling an appointment and the cancellation terms will be provided when booking an appointment.

The fine will increase from the current EUR 56.70 to EUR 60.60 as of 1 March. The increase is equal to the index adjustment made on the basis of the national pension index (6.93%). The Social Services, Health Care and Rescue Services Committee decided to increase the fee on 27 January 2026.
