Detailed planning is the planning of land use, which determines how housing, services, jobs, transport, nature and recreational areas are to be coordinated in Helsinki. The 2025 planning review is available at  hel.fi/kaavoituskatsaus  (PDF).

The planning review contains information on the progress of the planning process and a summary of the most important planning projects that are currently underway or will be in the near future in different parts of the city. This year’s review looks at how planning processes coordinate growth with nature values.
