Changes in urgent dental care on weekdays 10 January

As of 10 January 2022, urgent dental care is available in Helsinki at the Kalasatama dental clinic at Työpajankatu 14.

As of 10 January 2022, urgent dental care is available in Helsinki at the Kalasatama dental clinic at Työpajankatu 14. At the same time, urgent care at the Myllypuro dental clinic ceases. The non-urgent care in Myllypuro will continue normally.

The other urgent dental care centre in Helsinki on weekdays is located at the Oral and Dental Centre in Meilahti at Haartmaninkatu 1. Both Kalasatama and the Oral and Dental Centre are open from Monday to Friday at 8:00–15:00. Urgent dental care for children and young people is available at the local dental clinic on weekdays.

There will be no changes to appointment booking. Appointment booking for urgent care is open on weekdays at 7:00–14:00 on tel. 09 310 51400(Link starts a phone call). You can also make an appointment online via the maisa.fi(Link leads to external service) service. Clients are asked to contact us by telephone or electronically before seeking treatment. The service is provided by the City of Helsinki.

No changes in evening and weekend emergency services

The dental care evening and weekend emergency services are provided for Helsinki residents at Park Hospital, former Children’s Hospital. Park Hospital’s address is Stenbäckinkatu 11.

The emergency services are available on weekday evenings at 16:00–21:00, at weekends and on holidays at 9:00–21:00.

Night-time emergency services continue at the Emergency Department in Töölö Hospital

The dental care night-time emergency services continue to be available at the Emergency Department in Töölö Hospital (Töölönkatu 40) at 21:00–8:00. Appointment booking, tel. 040 621 5699. Clients are asked to call the emergency services before coming in. The service is provided by HUS.

Serious dental, oral and maxillofacial injuries are treated around the clock at Töölö Hospital (Töölönkatu 40).
